Rockets
From an early age the rocket scientist has been at work. From small sky rockets
to the development of powerful high tech rocket propellants and rocket motors
this area has always proved exciting and challenging. I set a New Zealand amateur
rocket altitude record of 14 700 feet (4 480 meters) with full recovery under
parachute. The rocket, named OZONE stands 2.75 meters tall, 25 kg launch weight
and was powered by N2000 rocket motor of our own design and manufacture. OZONE
broke the sound barrier for several seconds near the end of the rocket motor
burn and into free flight.
